Migraine Treatment

How Does JOGO Work?

Every time a muscle tightens, it generates a small electrical signal. JOGO’s EMG biofeedback sensors detect these signals and display them on a dedicated tablet, giving you a clear, real-time view of how your muscles respond to stress, tension, and pain. During migraines, certain muscles in the head, face, and neck often become overactive. JOGO’s EMG biofeedback targets three key muscle groups commonly involved in migraine pain:

• Frontalis – forehead tension
• Temporalis – jaw and temple tightness
• Upper trapezius – neck and shoulder strain

By visualizing muscle activity as it happens, you learn targeted relaxation techniques that help interrupt the tension–pain cycle. With consistent training, the brain’s pain‐processing circuits can reorganize through neuroplasticity. As these neural pathways become less excitable, the brain reduces its amplification of pain signals, which can lead to fewer migraine episodes and lower overall pain intensity.

Who Can Benefit from JOGO?

JOGO may be beneficial for individuals with migraine who:

  • Prefer nonpharmacologic treatment options.
  • Have an inadequate response to, or poor tolerance of, specific pharmacologic therapies.
  • Have medical contraindications or restrictions that limit the use of pharmacologic treatments such as: pediatric/adolescence, pregnancy/lactating/planning to get pregnant, and medication-overuse headache.

Clinical studies show that biofeedback can reduce migraine severity and frequency by 45–60%. When combined with medication, outcomes are even better than medication alone, and many people experience long-lasting relief with regular practice.
