The Technology

The AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill features NASA Differential Air Pressure (DAP) Technology, a precise air calibration system based on user’s actual body weight to change what’s possible in rehab and training. Alter G uses a pressurized air chamber to uniformly reduce gravitational load and body weight in precise increments and thereby enabling patients and athletes to move unrestricted and pain free restoring muscle strength, range of motion, balance, function and fitness.

The Alter G Difference

Unlike other treadmill systems, the Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill allows users to exercise comfortably and freely without the restriction of a harness and uses the air pressure to create a safe environment to prevent further damage and injuries in case of a fall. The fear of falling and worsening an injury can be demotivating during medical rehabilitation, but the safety of the Anti-Gravity Treadmill physical therapy training can empower patients to move AND recover. If you’re experiencing mobility impairment, excessive joint pain, or you’re an injured athlete, contact us to connect with a physical therapist and get started as an AlterG treadmill patient today.
